I have attached a pic of my mare yesterday at the Arabian Horse Society National Championship show where she came second in the novice mares and second in the restricted open, beating a lot of professionals!!!!! So as you can see she is going soooo differently now she has your saddle. A month ago she came second in an open HOYS class, narrowly missing qualification and beating the reigning HOYS mare champion. I can't thank you enough. 
 

I have recently bought a general purpose saddle from Martin Wilkinson.  This is the third new saddle I have bought from him over the years and what I have noticed each time is that the first saddle that Martin suggests has always turned out to be the one that I have bought.  Although I tried a few different ones, it's the first one presented that has always been the best.  He assesses the horse and rider and immediately seems to know what is going to work well.

 

I traded my second hand saddle used on my previous horse for a new Martin Wilkinson branded saddle, and I was very pleased with the trade in price offered.

Martin Wilkinson was introduced to us when we bought our first horse and pony some 12 years ago and he fitted both with great saddles - one of which we still have and it fits my third horse. This saddle is a Buffalo leather Dressage Saddle and it is the most comfortable saddle we have ever had - so much so we ordered a Black GP saddle in Buffalo leather which is what Welton Archer was ridden in at Search for a Star. Not only did Martin help with the saddle, he advised us on a pre-HOYS check of the bridle, reins and saddle which obviously helped us do so well! I would recommend Martin Wilkinson to anyone as the service is excellent and the care and time that Martin takes in fitting a saddle correctly shows that a saddle can last a long time as ours have!

He did me a dressage saddle for a very wide short backed cob and managed to design it so my backside fits in it too, quite an achievement. Made to measure and well below budget.

Two riders at the yard (having been blessed with very small bottoms) have the Cygnet's and recommend them.

hi everyone,i just thought id write a thankyou and let everyone know that if you cant get a saddle to fit your horse then get martin wilkinson out to you.
i had a mare that her saddle slipped forward,had different saddlers and many a saddle to no avail,however martin managed to fit her a saddle so its stayed put.my other boy was another awkward fitting and he worked miracles with it.
So message to everyone if you think you cant get saddle to fit your horse go to martin hes was fab xx
